What do you think of a platform like SpeakerPost? Why did you join it?

I joined to help and assist getting people in the real-world to present in a classroom. It’s not always about what’s in a textbook. It’s about generating ideas which make the cash register or the shopping cart ring.

Few industry folks are dedicated to academia like you are. Tell us about how you give back and what motivates you to do this again and again?

It’s in my blood. I have always given back even when I was in high school, an undergraduate or graduate student at USC. As a Marketing and Advertising Consultant, Marketing Analyst, Problem Solver, Marketing, Advertising and Business Expert Witness, especially as a Marketing, Advertising & Business Strategies Adjunct Professor, Senior Lecturer, Presenter.

What advice do you have for folks who want to donate their time talking with students? How should they prepare? What should they talk about?

Be prepared. Ask the instructor for questions which he or she could give you in class to answer. It’s a partnership. If they can’t give you these questions then it’s probably not the best fit. You want to come to a class which is organized and be on time. Don’t wing it. It’s win-win for you and the students. You will get more out of it than the students. We are always learning.
